GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS
Article 1 — Identity of the Seller
The website www.moujik.be is operated by Barbara Butaye, trading as Moujik, Chée de Charleroi 245, 1060 Brussels, Belgium. Enterprise number: BE787226858. Email: hello@moujik.be.
Article 2 — Definitions
"Customer" means any natural or legal person placing an order on the website. "Product" means the Moujik Classic Rainjacket and any other products listed on the website. "Order" means a purchase made via the website. "Contract" means the agreement formed upon order confirmation.
Article 3 — Scope
These General Terms and Conditions apply to all sales made via www.moujik.com to customers in Belgium and France. By placing an order, the customer accepts these Terms in full.
Article 4 — Products
Product descriptions, photographs and specifications are provided in good faith and are as accurate as possible. Minor variations in colour may occur due to screen settings. Moujik reserves the right to modify products without prior notice, provided this does not affect orders already confirmed.
Article 5 — Prices
All prices are displayed in euros and include Belgian VAT where applicable. Shipping costs are shown separately at checkout. Moujik reserves the right to modify prices at any time; the price applicable to an order is the price displayed at the time of placing the order.
Article 6 — Orders
Orders are placed via the website. The customer selects products, proceeds to checkout, provides delivery and payment details, and confirms the order. An order confirmation email is sent automatically. The contract is formed upon dispatch of this confirmation.
Article 7 — Payment
Payment is due in full at the time of ordering. Accepted payment methods are displayed at checkout. All transactions are processed securely. Moujik does not store card data.
Article 8 — Availability
Products are offered subject to availability. In the event a product becomes unavailable after an order is placed, the customer will be notified and offered a full refund or alternative.
Article 9 — Delivery
Orders are dispatched within 2–4 business days. Estimated delivery times are 2–6 business days for Belgium and 3–7 business days for France. These are estimates only and do not constitute a contractual commitment. Risk transfers to the customer upon delivery.
Article 10 — Right of Withdrawal
Customers have the right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days of receipt without giving any reason, in accordance with Belgian law (Book VI of the Code of Economic Law) and EU Directive 2011/83/EU. Products must be returned unused, with original tags and packaging, within 7 days of initiating the return. Return shipping costs are borne by the customer.
Article 11 — Refunds
Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving the returned product in satisfactory condition, via the original payment method.
Article 12 — Legal Guarantee
All products are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity for two years from delivery (Belgian Code of Economic Law, Art. 1649bis et seq.; EU Directive 2019/771). In the event of a conformity defect, the customer may request repair, replacement, price reduction or refund, depending on the nature of the defect. Normal wear and damage resulting from misuse are not covered.
Article 13 — Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including the Moujik brand name, logo, product designs and photographs, are the exclusive property of Moujik and are protected by intellectual property law. The product design is a registered design. Any reproduction, in whole or in part, is strictly prohibited without prior written consent.
Article 14 — Liability
Moujik's liability is limited to the value of the order placed. Moujik is not liable for indirect damages, loss of use, or consequential losses. This limitation does not apply in cases of fraud or gross negligence.
Article 15 — Personal Data
Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available here below. Moujik complies with the GDPR (Regulation 2016/679) and Belgian data protection law.
Article 16 — Applicable Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by Belgian law. In the event of a dispute, the customer may contact us first at [email]. If unresolved, the customer may refer the matter to the Belgian consumer mediation service (www.mediationconsommateur.be) or the European ODR platform (ec.europa.eu/odr). Belgian courts have jurisdiction.
Article 17 — Complaints
Any complaint should be sent to hello@moujik.be. We aim to respond within 5 business days.
WARRANTY
Legal Guarantee
All Moujik products are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity for two years from the date of delivery, as required by Belgian law (Code of Economic Law, Art. 1649bis) and EU Directive 2019/771.
What Is Covered
— Manufacturing defects present at the time of delivery
— Defects in materials or construction that were not caused by use or handling
— Non-conformity with the product description
What Is Not Covered
— Normal wear and tear
— Damage caused by improper use or care (e.g. machine washing, tumble drying)
— Accidental damage
— Cosmetic marks resulting from the nature of the technical fabric (see Care Guide)
— Damage caused by negligence or misuse
How to Make a Claim
Contact us at hello@moujik.be with your order number, a description of the defect, and clear photographs showing the issue. We will assess the claim and respond within 5 business days. Depending on the nature of the defect, we will offer: repair · replacement · price reduction · or full refund.

Third Parties
Your data may be shared with: Shopify (order processing and hosting) · payment processors · shipping carriers · email marketing provider (e.g. Klaviyo or Mailchimp) · Google Analytics. All processors are bound by GDPR-compliant data processing agreements.
International Transfers
Shopify's servers are located in North America. Data transfers outside the EEA are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses. Google Analytics data is processed in the US under equivalent safeguards.
